3. You know the running cost. Replacement waste bags are $24.99 for 60, about $0.42 a bag. A single-cat home changing weekly spends roughly $22 a year on bags. Liners run $49.98 for a 2-pack. It is not expensive, but it is not zero, and the accessory discounts are proportionally deeper than the machine discounts — so stacking consumables onto the original order is the cheapest way to buy them.

The Returns Reality

Thirty days from delivery for a full refund, with free outbound shipping in the contiguous US and most orders landing in three to five business days. Two conditions worth knowing up front: you pay return shipping, which on a 20-pound appliance box is not trivial and is the most common complaint in third-party reviews; and the unit must come back clean, or a cleaning fee applies.
