On regular-priced athletic gear that you'd buy anyway, the points and free returns are usually the most dependable ongoing discount Foot Locker offers.

One useful policy detail: Foot Locker generally lets you use one FLX Cash reward together with one coupon code on the same order. That combination is one of the few places at Foot Locker where two separate discounts can apply at once, so it's worth lining up before you check out.

Students can verify through a student-discount service to receive a one-time code — historically around 20% off orders over a set minimum — that can't be combined with other offers. Active military and veterans verify through SheerID at checkout; that discount has been capped at a set savings amount per verification with a limited number of verifications per month, and it also can't be stacked with other promo codes.

The pattern to remember is that these verified discounts are generous but exclusive — they generally replace, rather than add to, a coupon code. The exception noted above is FLX Cash, which policy has allowed alongside one coupon such as the military discount.
