The signature discount is Mix 6: buy six or more eligible bottles of wine and take roughly 10 percent off those bottles. You mix and match across different wines — it does not have to be six of the same label — and the discount is generally applied automatically at checkout once you hit the count. Eligibility is limited to participating wines and, again, is subject to state regulations, so the discount may look different or be unavailable depending on where you shop.

The &More Rewards program is free and can be joined online or in store with a phone number. The published earn rate has been 10 points per dollar, with 5,000 points converting to a $5 reward — roughly a 1 percent return in reward value. It won't transform a bill on its own, but on regular purchases it stacks quietly in the background, and enrolling costs nothing.

Most locations offer free in-store pickup and curbside pickup. Same-day service sometimes carries a small fee at certain stores, while next-day pickup is typically free, so if you can plan a day ahead you often avoid the charge entirely. Availability and fees vary by store, which is worth checking on the location page before you place an order.

Beyond price, Total Wine leans on experiences. Many stores run complimentary in-store tastings, and a subset — around 60 locations — house Education Centers that hold classes led by staff experts. The mobile app is where limited-time specials and event registrations surface first, so it doubles as both a deals feed and a way to book a free tasting near you.
